Most of my patients are busy moms who do not have time to commit to a multi-step regimen. I am one of those people. Enter Alastin Restorative Skin Complex. Elastin is what gives skin its “snap back” quality and collagen provides structure, firmness, and strength. An increase in collagen reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The reason that retinol is a popular ingredient in antiaging products is because it too promotes collagen. However, many people (myself included) get dry, irritated, and flaky with retinol use. Now that I have a product that promotes new collagen and elastin without the irritation, I am able to leave out the retinol in my nightly routine.
